Addrienne is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) through Yoga Alliance, a National Yoga Teachers’ Registry. She has also completed Levels 1 and 2 Teacher Training through the Baptiste Power Yoga Institute. She teaches Vinyasa (flow) and Baptiste style classes, which are both based on the movement of the body, fueled by the power of prana (breath). Addrienne integrates new ways of moving the body with the breath based on her continual study of this practice through various conferences, classes, workshops, trainings and most importantly, her personal practice. Her teaching is influenced by her studies with Baron Baptiste, Shiva Rae, Natalie Pruitt, Desirae Pierce, Adrienne Jamiel and the teachers at Park Slope Yoga Center in Brooklyn, New York.

"Yoga has taught me about connection: it has taught me how to connect my breath to my body, my heart to my mind, and my spirit to the physical practice that we today call Yoga. It has also taught me how to connect with the people who are a part of this supportive community. Practicing Yoga encompasses much more than just sweating and stretching on a mat, it links the microcosm with the macrocosm. Teaching Yoga has given me the opportunity to step back, observe, and appreciate all that makes us individual. Every person is unique mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Yet, despite all of our differences, we are able to unite through a dynamic energy that is created through our consistent Yoga practice.

I encourage any and all individuals to practice Yoga regardless of age, sex, culture, creed and physical characteristics. Yoga is now, more than ever before, accessible to a myriad of people and communities around the globe. I sincerely hope that anyone who practices Yoga will take what is learned from his or her personal experience off the mat and into the world at large.

Thank you and much love and respect to all my teachers, family, friends and fellow practitioners. You have opened my eyes to all that is truly important in this life."
